First Visit to InfinityStyles: What to Expect
Trying a new salon involves a bit of nerve. Here’s exactly how a first visit with us goes, so there are no surprises.
Before you arrive
Book ahead. Call (708) 594-2050. Tell us roughly what you’re after when you book — a cut is a different appointment length from a cut and full colour, and getting that right means we’re not rushing you.
For colour, ask about a consultation first. A short consultation before the appointment lets us look at your hair in person, talk through what’s realistic, and quote you properly. It saves the disappointment of discovering on the day that what you want takes two sessions.
Come with your hair as it normally is. Not freshly washed and blow-dried into submission — we want to see how it actually behaves.
Bring pictures
Even rough ones. Hair vocabulary is genuinely imprecise: “a few inches”, “ashy”, “just a trim” and “not too short” mean different things to different people. A photo removes the guesswork.
Pictures of things you don’t want are just as useful.
When you arrive

Your stylist will start with a conversation before anything else — what you want, what your hair has had done to it before, what your mornings actually look like. That last question matters more than it sounds. A style that needs twenty minutes of work every day is the wrong style if you have ten.
Be honest about box dye or previous colour, including from a while back. It isn’t a judgement — it genuinely changes how your hair reacts to lightener, and a stylist who knows can plan around it.
What we offer
Cut and style, colour, highlights and balayage, hair extensions, bridal styling, manicures and pedicures, full waxing services, facials, and massage. Everything under one roof, which means we can build a package around an event rather than sending you elsewhere.
Current pricing includes women’s haircuts from $38, single colour process from $75, highlights from $97, spa manicure $25, makeup $45, and Swedish massage $58.
Speak up
If something isn’t going the way you pictured, say so while you’re in the chair. Adjusting mid-appointment is easy. Fixing it a week later is not, and we would much rather you told us. Nobody here is offended by “could it be a bit shorter”.
